Lady of the Glen has built its name on unadorned single casks since 2012, and this 10 Years Old Bunnahabhain is one of the house's more limited finds.
Expert's Description
Bunnahabhain 2011/2022 Lady of the Glen 10 Years Old is a Single Islay Malt Scotch Whisky from a single cask, bottled at cask strength, 57.7%.
The whisky was distilled in December 2011 and bottled in April 2022 from cask #878, an ordinary barrel that has given a modest yield of just 250 bottles. Lady of the Glen always bottles at cask strength, without chill filtration and without added colour.
In the glass it offers smoky tea, honeydew melon and crisp biscuits – a combination worth cutting with a touch of water to draw out the full picture.
