Old Pulteney Harbour is a single malt whisky inspired by the distillery's rich maritime heritage, originating from Wick in the northeast of Scotland. This whisky is matured in a combination of various American oak casks that previously contained bourbon. This imparts a unique complexity and depth that is characteristic of the Old Pulteney range.

When you open a bottle of Old Pulteney Harbour, you are greeted by an inviting aroma that blends sweet and fresh notes of vanilla and coconut, quickly followed by fruity citrus tones, especially mandarins, and a light marmalade-like sweetness. There is also a subtle spicy undertone of fresh oak, which adds an extra dimension to the scent. The fragrance clearly reflects the whisky's harbor origins and the fresh, salty sea breezes from the Scottish coast.

On the palate, Old Pulteney Harbour presents a well-balanced flavor profile, where sweet fruits such as raisins and tropical notes meet rich caramel flavors. This is complemented by hints of tobacco and spicy nuances that give depth to the whisky's taste. At the end of the tasting experience, the classic salty character for which Old Pulteney is known emerges. This lightly salted and slightly smoky finish helps define the whisky and provides an unforgettable, long-lasting aftertaste.
