Winter drinks with great whisky from Tamnavulin

GLÖGG WITH WHISKY AND BLOOD APPLE

2 glasses - approx. 45 minutes

• Ingredients:


• 1 dl orange juice


• 3 sticks of cinnamon


• 8 cloves


• 400 ml fruity red wine (e.g. Zinfandel)


• 2 tbsp. brown sugar


• 1 organic orange, sliced


• 6 cl Tamnavullin Double Cask Whisky

How to make it:

Squeeze orange juice and slice the orange
Put all ingredients, except the whisky, in a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil.
Let your mulled wine simmer for 30 minutes to allow the spices to infuse. Before serving, add the whisky to the pot and serve.

About Tamnavulin

Tamnavulin Double Cask is matured in American oak casks and finished in used Sherry casks. The soft and light aroma, combined with the aged and mild oak flavor and the particularly long finish, gives this malt whisky its right to be called the "Queen of Speyside!" The color is golden and the aroma is well aged, slightly sweet and with a hint of floral character. The taste is medium-bodied with a refreshing and invigorating, slightly smoky note.

Tamnavulin Double Cask is the first single malt bottled by Tamnavulin since the 1990s and will be the only single malt to have come from distillation.
