This Ron Quorhum (QRM) is produced by Oliver & Oliver, who are also behind the rum series; Opthimus, Cubaney, Puntacana, Esclavo and Tres Hombres.
Ron Quorhum 30 Cask Strength is based on the popular and classic Ron Quorhum 30 Aniversario, but this version is bottled at 50% cask strength. This is the first time it has been bottled at this strength, usually at 43% alcohol.
The rum smells of brown sugar, vanilla, oak, dark chocolate and citrus fruit. The taste is complex, with a delicious fatness, butterscotch, honey sweetness, orange peel and coffee notes. There's a lot more of everything due to the alcohol strength, compared to its little brother at 43%.
