- Distillers DramMortlach 16 year old whisky is an upgrade of the younger bottlings from Mortlach. This Single Speyside Malt Whisky is bottled at 43.4%. The whisky is aged in used bourbon and sherry casks and distilled in a total of 6 different copper pot stills (3 wash stills and 3 spirit stills) not just 2 times but 2.81 times (this started the distillery back in 1896 and has since helped to give the distillery its excellent flavor profile). On the palate you'll find dried fruits, fresh notes of citrus as well as vanilla and fine toffee. Try Mortlach 16 year Distiller's Dram 2.81.
