This special cask treatment, where the inner staves are shaved and re‑charred, adds extra depth, intensity and a layer of toasted sweetness that enhances the distillery’s naturally robust style. Bottled at full cask strength of 58%, un‑chillfiltered and with natural colour, it offers a pure and unaltered expression of both cask and spirit.

On the nose, warm bourbon notes, vanilla, toasted oak and a gentle waxy richness appear—classic markers of Benrinnes’ weighty, meaty distillate. Beneath that lie fruity tones of baked apples, citrus oil and a hint of malt biscuits. The palate is intense, full‑bodied and oily, with layers of caramelised sugar, vanilla pod, spicy oak and a deep, almost syrupy sweetness from the re‑charred cask.
