The rum is 12 years old, with 5 of those years spent in a PX sherry cask, adding dark, fruity and almost syrup‑like depth on top of the dry, spicy Jamaican backbone. The nose offers ripe tropical fruits, raisins, burnt sugar and the warm, wine‑rich sweetness of PX sherry. The palate is powerful and complex with notes of dark caramel, overripe banana, prunes, molasses, oak and a distinct PX‑driven fruitiness. The high cask strength of 60.2% delivers both intensity and warmth without overshadowing the elegant sherry notes.
