Laphroaig 10 Year is a Scottish single malt whisky from the remote island of Islay in western Scotland, presented here in a Cask Strength edition from 2023 with a robust 58.3% ABV - Batch 17.

Laphroaig, pronounced "La-froyg," is a Gaelic word meaning "the beautiful hollow by the broad bay." In the production of Laphroaig, malted barley is dried over a peat fire. The smoke from the peat, which is unique to Islay, gives Laphroaig its exceptionally rich flavor. Laphroaig 10 Year has a rich, sparkling gold color. The aromas are dominated by pronounced smoky notes with a hint of sweetness. The palate offers a surprising sweetness with a touch of sea salt and peat. The finish is slow and balanced in Laphroaig 10 Year Single Malt.
