However, this is a whisky without a specific vintage and age statement. This Glenrothes is called Whisky Makers Cut, and is created by Glenrothes very own whisky maker; Gordon Motion. His craftsmanship is reflected in this bottling, using only exquisite first-fill sherry casks and bottled at Motions' preferred alcohol strength of 48.8%.

The aroma is dominated by oak, while the taste is packed with spicy notes of vanilla and orange peel. The finish is long and characterized by orange and nutmeg. A fantastic whisky!
