In 1992, the then United Distillers (now called Diageo and the world's largest spirits company) started the Flora & Fauna series, which at the time consisted of 26 different versions of Scotch Single Malt whisky to show the vast differences in Scotland's whisky regions. Bottled at 43% for most of the bottles, but some were also bottled at Cask Strength, i.e. full cask strength, and some versions also came in wooden boxes.

A very interesting dram, the only Speysider to be triple-distilled like a Lowland malt or Irish whiskey, but with a lot more body and character than either of those styles. Impressive stuff.
