The winery Bodegas Toro Albalá is located in Aguilar de la Frontera, 50 km south of Córdoba, and was established in 1844 by Antonio Sánchez Prieto in a mill close to the town's castle. In 1922, José M. Toro Albalá moved production to the town's former power plant. The power plant offers ideal conditions for wine storage with plenty of cellars and underground rooms and corridors.
