The Observatory 20 Year is an elegant Single Grain whisky from the distillery Macduff, which is also known for producing Glen Deveron. There is a lighthouse on the box, hence the name The Observatory, which refers to the many lighthouses up and down the coast of Scotland. The whisky has been aged in a mix of used sherry casks and Virgin Oak, the result is a super smooth mouthfeel, with notes of sweet sherry and vanilla, dark chocolate. The finish is soft, dry and has spice notes.
