HELIUM Gin & Tonic with Moletto Gin

Helium is one of the newer stars of the Copenhagen cocktail scene. Here, every detail is thought out down to the very last detail - from the engraving on the glasses to the velvet upholstery on the benches. The same meticulous approach also applies to Helium's cocktails. Here, however, the expression is simpler to give Moletto's nuances more room to maneuver.

Ingredients

Procedure

Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.
Pour the gin and then the tonic carefully so that all the carbon dioxide does not disappear.
Garnish with pickled cucumber, cherry tomato and thyme.

About Moletto Gin:

Moletto is an Italian winery that won their first gold medal for their wine in 1968. Like many other wine producers in Italy, Moletto also produces grappa, a brandy made from the grape marc that is a by-product of wine production. Through this production, they have refined their distillation process and inspired by their local environment, they came up with the idea to produce a gin: Moletto Gin.

The gin is made from alcohol based on a selected blend of cereals, various Mediterranean juniper berries and marquis berries from the Alps. What really sets Moletto Gin apart from other good gins is their use of tomato.

What is more Italian than sun-ripened tomatoes, and it is precisely the Italian flavor that makes gin so interesting. The classic gin virtues are also in place, but it is the notes of sun-ripened tomatoes followed by rosemary, basil and balsamic notes that chisel Moletto into any gin lover's memory. Some may find it a little strange to be drinking tomato-flavored gin.
However, those objections are quickly silenced when they taste Moletto. The expression seems as natural as when we started drinking
cucumber-flavored gin. With Moletto it won't be long before cherry tomatoes become commonplace in our glasses when we order a gin & tonic.
