    This Gran Reserva Anejo XO is a blend of both light and heavy rum distillates from Puerto Rico. Among other things, it contains a solera rum that has been aged for over 50 years in sherry casks. The rum has a fine balance between sweet and dry flavor notes. The taste of caramel and vanilla is both round and complex. Don Q belongs to the Spanish style of rum, which is usually sweeter, but this rum stands out as an unsweetened rum.
