This edition of Local Barley has been made from Bere barley grown exclusively at Clachkiel Farm. Matured and bottled at 55.2% ABV, it represents the latest chapter in the celebrated Local Barley series.

Nose
The aroma opens with rich and inviting notes of fig rolls, date syrup, plums and star anise, setting the tone for a complex and layered dram.

Palate
On the palate, a savoury character becomes more pronounced. Flavours of burdock, shiitake mushrooms, tamari soy sauce and liquorice emerge, adding depth and umami-like richness to the whisky’s profile.

Finish
