The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Years Old presents itself in the glass in brownish gold. Very enjoyable and as expected the most interesting part of the Macallan 12 Years Old Sherry Oak was the nosing. In addition to aromas of grapes and a subtle sherry, it was mostly wood notes, which attracted attention. In the mouth the 12 years old Macallan was peppered with aromas of apples and sherry by the maturation in sherry casks. Another positive point of the tasting was the Macallan 's creaminess and softness. Clear advantage of the Macallan Sherry Oak was the finish. By notes of sherry and leather this Macallan whisky was very long and warm on the palate.
