GlenAllachie 8 Years is a single malt whisky made from a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and a small amount of Virgin Oak casks. This combination of casks gives the whisky a wonderful aroma of honey and cinnamon as well as roasted almonds, mocha and ginger. In the taste you can sense syrup, caramel with cinnamon and peppermint.

GlenAllachie 8 Years is a single malt whisky that has been aged in a combination of: Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and a small amount of Virgin Oak casks. This maturation gives the whisky a wonderful aroma of honey and cinnamon as well as roasted almonds, mocha and ginger. On the palate, you can sense syrup, caramel with cinnamon and peppermint.

The whisky is the result of Master Distiller Billy Walkers spending months in the warehouses at GlenAllachie, where he tasted his way through thousands of casks to identify which cask types should be combined to create this delicious dram. Since Billy Walker, and his two partners Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson, took over GlenAllachie in October 2017, things have really taken off.

Before 2017, there was hardly any single malt bottled from the distillery, which until then had been used as a building block for many of Pernod Ricard's blends. But now there is, and its popularity has been undeniable. From the very beginning, the whisky has been flying in Denmark.
