    Aperol Aperitivo Likør from Italy

Perfect for Aperol Spritz on the terrace. Enjoy an ice cold Aperol Spritz. The taste is described as delightfully refreshing, with a bitter sweet taste and a beautiful orange color. The complex flavor comes from sweet and bitter oranges, herbs and rhubarb - it holds 11% Alc.

    Aperol Spritz Opskrift

3 parts sparkling wine (e.g. Prosecco, cremant, cava or champagne)
    or white wine, preferably dry
    2 parts Aperol
    1 part sparkling water
    Ice cubes

First add equal parts Prosecco and Aperol, then add a little sparkling water. Stir lightly, garnish with a few half orange slices and serve.

The delicious summer drink, Aperol, whose origins date back to 1919, when two brothers Luigi and Silvio Barbieri from the northern Italian city of Padova came up with the idea of making a likør with less alcohol than those on the market.

This is Aperol, a low-strength aperitif made since 1919 to a secret recipe including both rhubarb and orange along with a wide assortment of herbs and roots

If you want to try something new, try Aperol on a stick, here is the recipe for delicious, cold Aperol Spritz ice lollies.

    Ingredients
    2 dl Aperol
3 dl Prosecco or other sparkling white wine
    1 dl sugar syrup
Juice and grated peel from 1 orange

    Method:

    1. Mix one part boiling water and one part sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved = sugar syrup

    2. Mix all the ingredients and pour into the molds. Insert the sticks into the molds after half an hour in the freezer so that the consistency is firmer.

    3. Then freeze the ice cream for a minimum of 3 hours

You will get about eight popsicles, depending on the size of your popsicle stick containers.
