  • Habitation St. Etienne 1998 Single Cask Martinique Rhum Agricole bottle
    Item no.: 222555-7553

From one of Martinique's most historic estates comes this single cask release, distilled in 1998 and preserved for decades before reaching the bottle.

    Expert Description

Habitation St. Etienne 1998 Single Cask is a Martinique Rhum Agricole from a single cask, distilled in 1998 and bottled at 47.8%.

The rum is produced by Habitation Saint-Étienne, known as HSE, one of the foremost representatives of the AOC Martinique label for agricultural rum. The distillery owns a site in Gros-Morne, where the buildings and aqueduct are protected as a historic monument, while the actual distillation takes place in Simon, Le François. Rhum agricole differs from traditional molasses-based rum by being distilled directly from fresh sugarcane juice, giving it a more aromatic and precise style. This single cask release from 1998 is a rare example of older, unblended HSE rum.

The result is an aromatic, complex rum, where fresh sugarcane meets oak and spice in a long, elegant finish.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

Fresh sugarcane, oak and a hint of tropical fruit.

    Palate

7 extra years in the cask is enough to transform Hampden's raw power into something more complex, without losing the distillery's signature funk.

    Expert description

Hampden Estate 15 Year is a Pure Single Jamaican Rum distilled on pot still and bottled at 50%.

The rum comes from Hampden Estate in Trelawny, Jamaica, whose roots go back to 1753 and which is known for its traditional high-ester production using wild fermentation and nothing but its own spring water added. This release is tropically matured for at least 15 years right at the distillery, with no added sugar or other additives, giving a more mature, deeper version of Hampden's signature profile compared to the house's younger releases.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Intense with flambéed banana and caramelised mango, followed by petrol-like and milky notes, dried flowers and vegetal notes.

    Palate

Full-bodied and powerful with a smoky, lightly salty edge, underpinned by tannins plus notes of pineapple, oak and a solvent-like sharpness.

    Item no.: 2225395-8244

Hampden Estate Coffret 8 Marks Collection 1 Year Ex‑Bourbon Cask Pure Single Jamaica Rum 8×20 cl 52%

Hampden Estate Coffret 8 Marks Collection 1 Year Ex‑Bourbon Cask is a rare and deeply fascinating release that offers a unique look into Hampden’s distillate, this time with an added layer of complexity from one year of maturation in ex‑bourbon casks. While the original 8 Marks collection presents the distillery’s raw and unaltered style straight from the pot still, this edition introduces a subtle but noticeable cask influence that softens, rounds off and highlights the differences between the eight marks in a new way.

Each of the eight bottles represents a specific mark with its own ester level, fermentation length and aromatic profile. After a year in ex‑bourbon casks, the distillates gain a smoother texture, a more integrated sweetness and gentle notes of vanilla, coconut and mild oak, without losing Hampden’s wild and intense character. The lower‑ester marks appear fresh and fruity with citrus, sugarcane and green banana, now softened by the mild sweetness of the bourbon cask. The mid‑range marks show deeper tropical fruit, pineapple, lime, olives and fermented funk, supported by extra warmth and structure from the wood. The highest‑ester marks remain explosive, extreme and intensely aromatic, full of overripe fruit, glue, acetone and spice, but the cask adds a light creaminess and a more harmonious transition between the sharp, acidic and fruity elements.

The collection serves as a study in how even short maturation can influence a distillate with such a strong identity. It offers the chance to experience how each mark evolves when given time in wood, and how the bourbon cask interacts with ester levels ranging from mild to extreme. For enthusiasts, it provides a deeper understanding of Hampden’s craftsmanship, and for tastings and masterclasses it is an invaluable tool for exploring the building blocks of Jamaican rum.

Hampden Estate Coffret 8 Marks Collection 1 Year Ex‑Bourbon Cask is created for exploration, immersion and experimentation. It highlights both the differences and the connections between the eight marks and shows how even small changes in maturation can create new nuances in one of the world’s most characterful distillates. It is a collection that appeals directly to collectors, enthusiasts and anyone who wants to understand Hampden from the ground up.

Hampden Estate Coffret 8 Marks Collection Pure Single Jamaica Rum 8×20 cl 60%

Hampden Estate Coffret 8 Marks Collection is one of the most fascinating and educational releases available from Hampden Estate – a complete tasting set that offers a unique insight into the distillery’s DNA. Hampden is known for its distinctive esters, long fermentations and traditional pot still production, and in this collection you get eight different “marks”, each representing a specific style, ester level and aromatic direction. It is a journey through everything from the milder, fruit‑forward expressions to the extreme, explosive and almost overwhelming high‑ester marks that have made Hampden famous around the world.

Each 20 cl bottle is bottled at 60% and presents a pure, unaltered version of the distillate without the influence of cask ageing. This means you taste Hampden in its rawest and most authentic form, where the differences between the individual marks stand out with absolute clarity. The lower‑ester marks offer notes of fresh fruit, sugarcane, citrus and light fermented nuances, while the mid‑range marks move into deeper tropical fruit, pineapple, banana, lime, olives and more pronounced funk. The highest‑ester marks are intense, wild and extremely aromatic, with explosive notes of overripe fruit, glue, acetone, rubber, spices and an almost electric acidity that only Hampden can deliver.

The collection serves both as a study in Jamaican rum production and as an experience for enthusiasts who want to understand how ester levels and fermentation shape flavour and aroma. It is a rare opportunity to taste the individual components that are normally blended into Hampden’s commercial releases, offering a deeper understanding of how the distillery’s character is built from the ground up.

Hampden Estate Coffret 8 Marks Collection is not just a rum release but a tool for exploration, learning and sensory experimentation. It is ideal for masterclasses, rum tastings or for collectors who want a piece of Hampden’s history and craftsmanship in its purest form. It is a release that demonstrates why Hampden is considered one of the world’s most unique and uncompromising distilleries.

    Item no.: 22227865416-7205

Rhum agricole is made from fresh sugarcane juice, not molasses, and at Longueteau the self-sufficiency with sugarcane goes all the way back to the fields surrounding the distillery.

    Expert description

Longueteau XO is a Rhum Agricole Vieux from Guadeloupe, blended from 8, 9 and 10 year old vintages and matured in former cognac casks, bottled at 42%.

The rum comes from the Longueteau distillery in Domaine du Marquisat de Sainte-Marie in Guadeloupe, founded in 1895 and run by the same family for four generations. Longueteau is one of the rare agricole distilleries that is 100% self-sufficient in sugarcane, meaning the entire process from field to bottle takes place within the house. The XO release blends 70% 8-year-old, 20% 9-year-old and 10% 10-year-old rum, all matured in casks that previously held cognac, giving it a vinous, almost cognac-like depth.

  • Nyborg Distillery Organic Single Sherry Ørbæk Rum bottle
    Item no.: 22227865446-53

In an old train workshop hall at Nyborg harbour, the Rømer brothers have built something rare in the Danish spirits world: a distillery where rum isn't just a side production, but a discipline of its own, made entirely organic.

    Expert Description

Nyborg Distillery Organic Single Sherry Ørbæk is a Danish Rum aged in sherry casks and bottled at 55%.

The rum is distilled and matured by Nyborg Distillery, Denmark's largest craft distillery, housed in a converted train workshop hall by the harbour in Nyborg. Everything the distillery produces is organic, and this rum is no exception. For this Single Sherry edition, sherry casks are used exclusively, giving a deeper, more spiced and wine-like character than the house's bourbon-barrel-aged rum.

Nicolai and Niels Rømer took over the empty buildings in 2011 and opened the modern distillery in 2017, after first experimenting with whisky, gin and rum at their brewery in Ørbæk since 2009, which explains why Ørbæk still appears in the name of several of the house's products.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

    Expert description

Panamonte 12 Year Bourbon Oak Cask is a Single Estate Rum from Panama, matured for 12 years exclusively in ex-bourbon oak casks, bottled at 40%.

The rum is produced from sugarcane grown and distilled at Las Cabras de Pesé in Panama, where the distillery is also located. The single estate designation means the entire process from cane field to bottle takes place at one unified location, giving a more consistent expression of terroir than blends from multiple sources. The exclusive bourbon cask maturation keeps the profile clean and focused on vanilla and oak spice rather than added finishing layers.

The result is a powerful, complex rum, where dark fruit and spice meet a long, warm finish shaped by the high strength.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

Dark fruit, toasted wood and spiced molasses.

    Palate

Powerful and complex with dark chocolate, spice and a light earthy note.

    Finish

Long and warm with lingering spice.

  • Renaissance 2018 White Alligator Single Cask rum bottle
    Item no.: 22227865479-1106-197280204

Taiwan's first rum distillery sends its cane juice through 15 days of dunder fermentation and two long distillations, before it lands in a brand-new, heavily charred American oak cask called White Alligator.

    Expert Description

Renaissance 2018 White Alligator Single Cask is a Taiwan Rum, distilled from Taiwanese sugar cane molasses and aged 3 years in a new American oak cask, bottled at 64.8%.

Renaissance Distillery, founded in 2017 by Olivier Caen and Linya Chiou, was the first rum distillery in Taiwan and has since built a name for high-ester, intense rum styles. This release undergoes a 15-day fermentation, where dunder is added to boost ester content, followed by two pot still distillations, first for 7 hours, then for 13 hours. The name White Alligator refers to the brand-new American oak cask with heavy char, where the characteristic cracked surface resembles alligator skin. Only 205 bottles were drawn from this single cask.

The result is an intense, high-ester rum with pronounced fruitiness and a powerful, spiced wood depth from the new cask.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

Densely sweet with raisin, caramel, cinnamon and clove, plus plum juice, port wine and blackberry jam.

    Palate

Intense and full-bodied with strawberry and papaya, toasted spice and prominent oak.

    Item no.: 22227865479-1106-197280053

592 bottles is all the world got of this blend, where RomDeLuxe lets a high-ester Jamaican legacy rub off on the Dominican Republic's gentlest rum style.

    Expert Description

RomDeLuxe Collectors Series Rum #8 Dominican Republic Single Cask is a Dominican Republic Rum, a blend of 15 and 16 year old rum bottled at 65%.

The rum consists of 80% 15-year-old, tropically aged Dominican rum distilled on column stills and aged in ex-bourbon casks, while the remaining 20% is a 16-year-old Grand Arome, a high-ester rum style originally developed in Jamaica. This combination gives the soft, mild Dominican base character a touch of Jamaican intensity without overpowering it. The release came in March 2022 and comprised only 592 numbered bottles.

The result is a rum that unites the gentleness of Dominican rum craft with a distinct, more characterful layer beneath the surface.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

The Foursquare distillery in Barbados delivers another cask to RomDeLuxe's Collectors Series, this time matured in a cask that previously held Scotch single malt whisky.

    Expert Description

RomDeLuxe Collectors Series Rum #13 Barbados Single Cask is a Barbados Rum, bottled from a single cask by the Danish bottler RomDeLuxe, distilled in April 2007 at the Foursquare distillery and aged 15 years in an ex-whisky cask, bottled at 60.7%.

The rum carries the mark MBFSWM and comes from the Foursquare distillery under the supervision of Richard Seale and his team, known for their traditional approach without added sugar or colouring. Item no.: 22227865479-1106-1972798203243

Guyana is home to some of the world's last preserved wooden pot stills, and from this tradition comes a 2006 cask that RomDeLuxe has followed through 16 years of maturation.

    Expert Description

RomDeLuxe Collectors Series Rum #12 Guyana Single Cask is a Guyana Rum, bottled from a single cask by the Danish bottler RomDeLuxe, distilled in 2006 at the Diamond distillery and aged 16 years, bottled at 53%.

The rum is distilled on the legendary copper-marked still profile known as "REV", one of several classic Guyana distillate marks that originate from the era of separate plantation distilleries and are today continued at the Diamond distillery using historic stills. The 16 years in the tropical climate have given the rum a deep, molasses-heavy character typical of the region's heavy pot still tradition.

The rum is, like all RomDeLuxe releases, bottled with no filtration, added sugar or colouring, straight from the cask.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

Dark molasses, leather and a hint of tar, with underlying dried fruit.

    Palate

Heavy and rich with burnt sugar, spiced wood and a touch of liquorice.

From the southern tip of Barbados's Foursquare distillery, RomDeLuxe selects a single cask left to mature for 17 years, long enough for Barbados rum's classic round sweetness to gain extra depth.

    Expert Description

RomDeLuxe Collectors Series Rum #14 Barbados Single Cask is a Barbados Rum, distilled at the Foursquare distillery in 2005 and aged 17 years in a single cask, bottled at 57.9%.

RomDeLuxe is a Danish bottling house founded by Claus Andersen, Kim Pedersen and Michael Ginnerup, who travel the world seeking the best single casks from renowned distilleries. Collectors Series is the house's flagship series, known for labels and boxes adorned with animal motifs, and this release comes from cask number 92. The 17 years spent in Barbados's tropical climate have given the rum a depth and complexity that sets it apart from the younger Foursquare releases in RomDeLuxe's range.

The result is a well-balanced, full-bodied rum where Foursquare's classic style meets the extra depth only long tropical ageing can provide.

    Tasting Notes

    Did You Know?

The cask for this rum literally travelled halfway around the world during its maturation: 5 years under Belize's tropical sun, then 12 years in the cooler Danish climate, giving the rum an unusual maturation journey through two vastly different climates.

  • RomDeLuxe Wild Series Rum 24 Panama Single Cask rum bottle
    Item no.: 22227865479-1106-197280054

It matured for 20 years in Panama's tropical heat before RomDeLuxe flew the rum to Denmark and gave it another 30 months in a cask that once shaped an Islay Whisky, a peaty detour few Panama rums ever take.

    Expert Description

RomDeLuxe Wild Series Rum #24 Panama Single Cask is a Panama Rum, distilled in 1999 and aged a total of 22 years, bottled at 63.95%.

The rum was distilled on column and pot stills at a Panamanian distillery in 1999 and aged 20 years in the country's tropical climate, before being shipped to Denmark, where RomDeLuxe matured it a further 30 months in a cask that previously held Islay Whisky. The Scottish peat influence is unusual for a Panama rum and gives the bottle a pronounced smoky, woody character normally associated with peated Scotch rather than Latin American rum. Cask number 346 produced only 242 numbered bottles in March 2022.

The result is a rich, aromatic rum where smoke, wood and vanilla meet a sweet caramel base.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

Smoky and woody with distinct Islay character, supported by vanilla and a sweet caramel base.

    Palate

Powerful and warming with smoke, toasted wood and spice, balanced by gentle sweetness.

    Finish

Long and smoky with persistent alcohol warmth and a peaty aftertaste.

    Investment Potential

High. The combination of 22 years of age, only 242 bottles and an unusual Islay Whisky finish makes this release a unique collector's item within RomDeLuxe's Wild Series.

    Did You Know?

Islay finishing is extremely rare for Panama rum, as the region's rum is traditionally aged in ex-bourbon or sherry casks, making this peated edition one of the most unconventional in RomDeLuxe's catalogue.

  • RomDeLuxe Wild Series Rum 25 Barbados Single Cask rum bottle
    Item no.: 22227865479-1106-197280144

Cask number 8 from the Foursquare distillery gave RomDeLuxe just 248 bottles, each of them filled with coconut, marzipan and chocolate at a strength untamed by a single drop of water.

    Expert Description

RomDeLuxe Wild Series Rum #25 Barbados Single Cask is a Barbados Rum, distilled at the Foursquare distillery in December 2007 and aged 14 years, bottled at 62.3%.

The rum is distilled from molasses and aged in ex-bourbon American oak casks, first in Barbados's tropical climate and later continued in Denmark. RomDeLuxe selected cask number 8 for its Wild Series and bottled it at cask strength in March 2022, yielding only 248 numbered bottles. Compared to the house's more streamlined Collectors Series releases, the Wild Series line is characterised by a rawer, more immediate approach to the distillate's natural power.

The result is a full-bodied, tropical rum where coconut and marzipan take centre stage alongside a pleasant, natural sweetness.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

Coconut at the centre, elegantly joined by marzipan and chocolate, with a balanced natural sweetness.

    Palate

Full-bodied with the same coconut and marzipan notes as on the nose, supported by gentle woodiness.

    Finish

Medium length with persistent chocolate and a soft, woody conclusion.

    Item no.: 22227865479-1106-197280425

Only 161 bottles survived the journey from 1991 to today, a rum that has spent over three decades between Trinidad's tropical heat and a colder climate, before RomDeLuxe bottled it at full cask strength.

    Expert Description

RomDeLuxe Wild Series Rum #30 Trinidad Single Cask is a Trinidad Rum, distilled in 1991 at the T.D.L. distillery and aged over 30 years, bottled at 59.9%.

The rum carries the TMAL mark from Trinidad Distillers Limited and has spent its long ageing partly in Trinidad's tropical climate, partly in a colder, continental environment, a combination that has given it an unusual depth and balance. RomDeLuxe selected this single ex-bourbon cask for its Wild Series and bottled it straight from the cask without added water, resulting in only 161 numbered bottles of this rare, aged rum.

The result is an intense and complex rum, where more than three decades of ageing have created a long, dry finish with distinct character.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

Deep and complex with dried fruit, old oak and a hint of coffee.

    Palate

Full-bodied and intense with persistent wood notes and a pleasant, mature sweetness.

  • RomDeLuxe Wild Series Uitvlugt 30 Year Guyana single cask rum bottle
    Item no.: 22227865471111-882

From the Port Mourant still in Guyana to a Danish wine merchant's name on the label. Wild Series #19 is RomDeLuxe's tribute to a cask that travelled between two climates and three decades before finally being bottled.

    Expert Description

RomDeLuxe Wild Series Rum #19 Uitvlugt Uhrskov Vine is a Guyana Rum from a single cask, distilled in 1990 on the famous Port Mourant pot still, aged 30 years and bottled at 55.2%.

The rum comes from the Uitvlugt distillery in Guyana, where it was distilled on the historic Port Mourant double wooden pot still, one of the most iconic and oldest still-operating distillation units in the world. After distillation, the rum first aged five years in Guyana's tropical climate before being moved to Denmark and continuing to age continentally for the rest of the 30 years. This transition from tropical to continental ageing gives the rum a different character than if it had remained in the tropics the whole way. The series was created specifically for the Danish wine merchant Uhrskov Vinhandel, and only 231 bottles were produced.

RomDeLuxe, the Danish bottling house behind the series, is known for selecting rare, characterful single casks from around the world and bottling them without additives.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

A harmonious blend of spice, sweetness and smoke, with hints of pastry, citrus and wood.

    Palate

Light fruit and wonderful wood with smoky nuances, complex and well balanced with warmth on the palate.

    Finish

Long and warm, with a lingering spiced sweetness.
