While Batch 23 draws its raw material from Barbados, Nobilis takes us to Guyana and Demerara's famous pot stills with Batch 24, a 20-year-old dram from Diamond Distillery.

    Expert Description

Guyana Diamond 2002 Single Cask 20 Year Nobilis Batch 24 is a Guyana Rum from a single cask, distilled in 2002, aged 20 years and bottled at cask strength 52.7%.

The rum is bottled by Nobilis, the Danish independent bottler founded by Kenneth Autzen, known for seeking out rare, high-strength single cask releases from across the Caribbean rum world. Diamond Distillery in Guyana houses several historic pot stills, including the legendary Enmore, Versailles and Port Mourant stills, and is known for producing some of the world's most complex and characterful rums. Batch 24 is bottled with no additives or filtration from a single cask that has had 20 years to develop its full depth.

The result is a complex, earthy rum, where molasses and spice meet a long, warm finish.
