New Yarmouth 1994/2021 Blackadder Raw Cask is a Finest Jamaican Rum, distilled in 1994, aged 26 years and bottled at cask strength 66.8%.
The rum comes from the Jamaican distillery New Yarmouth and was selected by the Scottish independent bottler Blackadder for their Raw Cask series, where the aim is to carry the full character of the cask into the bottle without compromise. The rum is non-chill filtered and retains its natural colour, ensuring an authentic experience close to what sits in the cask. With only 257 bottles from cask BR21-08, this is a rare chance to taste a single, nearly three-decade-old Jamaican cask.
Blackadder's Raw Cask series for rum follows the same philosophy as their well-known whisky releases: full cask strength, no filtration and maximum character.
