Guyana is home to some of the world's last preserved wooden pot stills, and from this tradition comes a 2006 cask that RomDeLuxe has followed through 16 years of maturation.
Expert Description
RomDeLuxe Collectors Series Rum #12 Guyana Single Cask is a Guyana Rum, bottled from a single cask by the Danish bottler RomDeLuxe, distilled in 2006 at the Diamond distillery and aged 16 years, bottled at 53%.
The rum is distilled on the legendary copper-marked still profile known as "REV", one of several classic Guyana distillate marks that originate from the era of separate plantation distilleries and are today continued at the Diamond distillery using historic stills. The 16 years in the tropical climate have given the rum a deep, molasses-heavy character typical of the region's heavy pot still tradition.
The rum is, like all RomDeLuxe releases, bottled with no filtration, added sugar or colouring, straight from the cask.

Did You Know?
