This whisky is from the distillery Blair Athol in the Highland region and is number 8 in The Chess Malt Collection. The distillery was founded in 1898. Only 527 bottles have been produced from this cask. No added color and has been aged 100% in Sherry casks. Lots of nuances of tropical fruits, slightly smoky character and nuts. The whisky is bottled at full cask strength.
