Stauning 20th Anniversary Edition is a Danish Single Malt Whisky bottled at 50.02% and matured for at least 10 years. It is made from a blend of peated and unpeated malt, giving a balanced combination of smoke character and sweetness. An anniversary bottling marking 20 years of world-class Danish whisky.

Stauning Whisky opened in 2005 and grew from seven amateurs with a passion for whisky to one of the world's most acclaimed craft distilleries. The 20th Anniversary Edition is the first 10-year-old expression from the distillery – a milestone in itself – and one of the most complex releases in Stauning's history.

Tasting notes

Nose

Elegant smoke with dark fruits, dried apricots and a hint of heather blossom. The maturation time is evident – there is depth here.

Palate

Peated malt and fruit sweetness in fine balance. Chocolate, nuts and light pepper. Ten years in cask give a roundness not seen in the shorter expressions.

Finish

Long and warm with smoke, dried fruit and oak tannins that slowly fade.
