MULD 1.2 – Single Malt & Single Farm Whisky from Sall – MULD is where it all begins. In the soil of Jutland, where Sall Whisky sows and harvests its spring barley, the foundation is laid for a whisky with depth, origin, and character. MULD 1.2 is the second release in the series and a distillate-driven expression where the natural flavor of the grain and malt is preserved and allowed to shine.

The whisky is made from Prospect and Evergreen spring barley grown on the fields of Kvolbæk and Stadsgård, malted as Pale and Vienna to create a balanced and full-bodied malt profile. It has matured for three years in ex-bourbon casks, where gentle aging has added light fruity notes, vanilla, and honeyed sweetness – without overshadowing what makes MULD special: the pure taste of Danish terroir.

Using the yeast strains Distillamax MW and Kveik Hornindal, the distillate gains an extra layer of complexity and aroma. Each bottle is 100% organic and fully traceable – from the distillation batch to the exact field where the barley was harvested.

MULD 1.2 is bottled at 50.9% ABV and released in 624 numbered bottles of 70 cl. A whisky for those who want to get closer to the raw material, the craftsmanship, and the story.
