Age: Unknown Notes: Enghaven's award-winning Oak Aged Sweet Edition Rum is Enghaven's take on a dark, sweet rum. It is produced by aging Enghaven White Rum in oak barrels and is infused with a small amount of the sugar cane molasses that is also the starting point for the fermentation of the rum. The nose offers distinct notes of brown sugar, nuts and vanilla and a slight hint of orange. Taste: In the mouth, it appears oily and has a long and soft, sweet taste with undertones of brown sugar. The distillery Enghaven was established during the summer and autumn of 2007 by Esben Moestrup, Erik Moestrup and Mikkel Nordkvist, and they are probably the first Jutland distillery to produce fruit spirits of the Eau-de-Vie type.
