Inspired by traditional Mayan rituals, Zacapa Reserva Limitada 2015 consists of carefully selected rums with different characteristics, all aged between 6 and 24 years. Reserva Limitada 2015 is aged in American oak barrels that were once used for robust American whiskies, delicate sherries and refined Pedro Ximénez wines. In the final stage of the maturation process, the oak barrels are individually hand toasted to different levels to enhance the vanilla aroma and flavor.

Zacapa Reserva Limitada 2015 has a deep mahogany colour with an intense amber glow. The aroma has notes of vanilla with hints of chocolate, apricot, wood and caramelized fruits. The taste is exotic and complex. It has hints of chocolate and vanilla, and there is an exquisite balance between notes of fruit and roasted almonds. Guatemala. SISTEMA SOLERA With the historical method Sistema Solera, craftsmanship and traditions are united when rums from different vintages and with different characters are blended. Afterwards, aging continues in barrels, where the rum takes on the flavor notes of the barrels it ages in. This dynamic and artful process requires constant attention and the luxury of time. As rum ages slower at altitude, the process gives Zacapa the optimal time to achieve its perfect colour, aroma and flavour. Solera Gran Reserva The Solera Gran Reserva process means that Zacapa rum ages in different barrels that have previously held powerful bourbon, delicate sherries and the elegant Pedro Ximenez. During this process, the rum also rests in new oak barrels that are lightly toasted on the inside to give the rum an extra flavor note from the wood. The extravagant process results in a luxurious rum of exceptional quality. Zacapa 23 Year Old has been voted the world's best rum four years in a row. It was then inducted into the Hall of Fame to give others a place in the competition.
