Redbreast 21 Year Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is the flagship of Redbreast's range. It is produced at the Midleton distillery in very small quantities, but the depth and complexity achieved is unparalleled in the portfolio. It has been aged in a mixture of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. On the nose, you'll find tropical fruits, dried stone fruit and roasted nuts. On the tongue we find soft and enveloping vanilla, fullness from the sherry casks, toasted oak and lovely warm spices. In the finish, the flavor lingers and covers the entire mouth cavity. It rounds off nicely with malt sweetness and we are completely sold.
