Nashville Nights Bourbon Whiskey has been distilled and subsequently matured in the USA in new American oak barrels. The whiskey was then shipped across the Atlantic in barrels to Denmark, where it was bottled on arrival. Nashville Nights Bourbon Whiskey is part of Knaplund's series called ''Booze to the People'', which is a collaboration with Whisky.dk. The series is made in connection with Nashville Nights - Songwriters festival Odense.

A whiskey born in the USA on one of Karl's many trips there. The special thing about this bourbon - where it gets its backbone, its firm handshake and its special melody - is the journey across the Atlantic and the subsequent aging. It is first aged in new barrels in the USA. Then it was shipped across the Atlantic directly into barrels - the first of its kind in the world. A journey that really gave this bourbon a run for its money.
