Triple aged in Bourbon, Cherry wine barrels and Moscatel - an exciting combination that has given a fantastic depth and flavor notes beyond the usual. Cask Experiment #2 is produced in 420 numbered bottles in beautiful handmade boxes. Cask Experiment is a series of a total of 4 different whiskies, all of which aim to challenge what whisky can also be. CES#2 has been out in all corners to get tasting notes, and most exciting is the aging in cherry wine casks from Frederiksdal Estate. They have been allowed to buy some of the oldest barrels that have previously made cherry wine, and this has resulted in exciting sour notes and a deep marzipan sensation - which has been balanced with a sweet Moscatel aging.
