David Stewart continues his work as Master Blender at Balvenie Brian Kinsman is the 6th Master Blender in the entire history of William Grant's - he was hired in 1997, with a background as a chemical engineer and after 8 years "apprenticing" with David Stewart, he was appointed on December 1, 2009 as Glenfiddich Malt Master and Master Blender for Grant's with responsibility for quality control of råsprit and control of the maturation of the many casks.
