Specially selected by Billy Walker The whisky started its life in 1st fill Bourbon casks, and over the last 20 months or so, it has been finished in Pedro Ximénez casks from Spain.

The color is beautiful mahogany with a golden hue. The nose has notes of dark chocolate, coffee, almonds, butterscotch and cinnamon. The taste has aromas of butterscotch, chocolate, honey, leather and exotic fruits. There are also small fresh notes of light fruits. The company is led by Master Distiller Billy Walker, who has more than 50 years' experience in the whisky industry. Alongside him are partners Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson. The company is well cushioned following Billy's sale of The Benriach Distillery Company and is free from short-term thinking. Things will be done properly and it will be quite a journey that Billy Walker invites all whisky fans to join him on. So far, very few bottlings have been released from GlenAllachie.
