GlenAllachie 12 Year Single Malt is a deliciously sweet dram that is predominantly aged in sherry casks. The first notes that come to mind when you put your nose in the glass are butterscotch and honey in combination with raisins and a little roasted coffee in the background. In the taste you find notes of honey, marzipan and bananas while the finish gives aromas of butterscotch, raisins and coffee.

GlenAllachie Distillers Company (GDC) GDC was established in October 2017 to take over the distillery from Pernod-Ricard. The company is led by Master Distiller Billy Walker, who has more than 50 years' experience in the whisky industry. Alongside him are partners Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson. The company is well cushioned after Billy's sale of The Benriach Distillery Company, so there's no need to think short-term. Things will be done properly and it's going to be quite a journey that Billy Walker is inviting whisky fans to join him on. So far, only a few bottlings have been released from GlenAllachie.
