Deep violet colour and juicy blackcurrant sweetness from the heart of Burgundy - Gabriel Boudier Crème de Cassis de Dijon has defined French blackcurrant liqueur for more than 100 years.

    Ekspertens beskrivelse

Gabriel Boudier Crème de Cassis de Dijon is a French blackcurrant liqueur from Maison Gabriel Boudier in Dijon, bottled at 20% ABV in a 35 cl bottle.

Maison Gabriel Boudier has made liqueurs in Dijon since 1874 and has been a symbol of expertise and tradition for more than 100 years. Crème de Cassis de Dijon is made by steeping blackcurrants in alcohol with a limited addition of sugar, dissolved directly into the juice at a cool temperature, without preservatives or colourings. The method gives the liqueur its beautiful, deep violet colour and a wonderfully rich, full-bodied and creamy blackcurrant taste. Boudier is among the most awarded liqueur houses in the world, and the name Dijon is a protected geographical indication now recognised globally.

    Smag

The taste is rich, full-bodied and creamy with an intense blackcurrant character, carried by a natural acidity that balances the sweetness. The colour is a beautiful deep violet, and the finish is long and fruity without becoming artificial in expression.
