The palette is round and balanced with subtle sweet fruit notes. The finish is long, dry and pleasant.Brugal XV is a blend of barrel-aged rums aged three to eight years. XV is an abbreviation for "extra viejo", which means "extra aged". In 1976, Brugal developed a new premium category where Brugal XV would consist of the best rums from the Dominican Republic. On the international stage, Brugal XV is characterized as one of the best aged rums with an extraordinary complexity.
