Rum is made from cane sugar and water. This mixture is fermented to form a liquid containing 8-10% alcohol. It is then distilled to an alcohol percentage of up to 90% and then stored on oak barrels. Once the rum has been stored, it is diluted to 40-43% alcohol and filled into bottles.

A unique and flavorful Single Cask rum from Dràm Mòr, who purchased a cask from an undisclosed Jamaican distillery, yielding only 254 bottles. On the nose, the rum reveals a smooth and less funky profile compared to many high ester Jamaican rums. It opens with molasses and dusty white pepper, then transitions through old bourbon casks, developing notes of pear drops and banana that are still yellow and not the classic overripe style often associated with Jamaican distilleries.
The palate is an excellent example of Jamaica's ability to deliver both heavy jungle funk and refined elegance. The taste is soft and buttery, sweet and cool, with a superb flavor that can only be described as “rum.” Elegant cotton candy sweetness mingles with roasted banana and gingerbread spice.
