Distilled in the year 2000 and bottled 23 years later, the new Ardbeg Vintage Y2K was matured in a combination of high-quality ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. The result is a whisky that is "Intensely sweet and classically peaty," creating herbal and citrusy sweet aromas and an explosion of soot, peppermint, and coffee on the palate. Its beautiful packaging makes it a "must-have" for any Ardbeg collector.
