Made from 100% Danish rye malt, floor-malted in-house. Approximately 3,000 bottles. Non-chill filtered. Sold without original box.

The Young Rye designation is Stauning's way of saying: what you see is what you get. Young, but not undeveloped – the rye malt provides a natural spiciness that does not require decades of maturation to make sense.

Nose

Fresh and spicy with green apple, rye bread and citrus peel. Intense and lively for its age.

Palate

Sharp and spiced rye core with pepper, ginger and light sweetness. Energetic and clear in profile.

Finish

Shorter with spiced warmth and light oak. Clean and direct.
