Expert description
Stauning Gin is a Danish gin distilled at Stauning in the village of Stauning on Jutland's west coast. Stauning Whisky was founded in 2005 by nine friends who shared a dream of making Danish single malt whisky, and the distillery has since expanded its range with gin distilled on the same pot stills as the whisky. The gin is brewed on a base of malted barley, a legacy of the whisky production, combined with juniper and a range of botanicals that give it a distinct, grainy character unlike many classic London Dry styles.
