This 16-year-old single malt whisky begins its journey with 12 years of maturation in American ex-bourbon casks and European oak sherry casks, followed by a 4-year finish in Ruby Port casks from the Douro Valley in Portugal. This double maturation adds an extra dimension of sweetness and complexity to the whisky. It is a special aging method that contributes to the whisky's fruity flavor nuances and depth. The distillate is produced in the traditional way, using only the finest ingredients, such as malted barley and pure water from the nearby river.
