Silvio Carta Grappa Invecchiata Italian Grappa 70 cl 40%
Silvio Carta Grappa Invecchiata is an elegant, oak‑aged grappa with a distinctly Sardinian identity and a depth that can only come from time, craftsmanship and patience. It is created from a carefully selected blend of grape varieties grown in the sun‑drenched vineyards of Sardinia, where warm days and mineral‑rich soil give the grapes intensity, ripeness and aromatic complexity.
Production follows classic, traditional methods: the grapes are harvested gently, pressed with care, and the distillation takes place in traditional copper stills, where only the “heart” – the purest and most aromatic part of the distillate – is kept. After distillation, the grappa is aged in oak casks, slowly developing its amber colour, warm depth and layered aromas.
The aroma is intense and complex, with notes of dried fruits, spices, vanilla and refined oak. On the palate it is full‑bodied, soft and harmonious, with a pleasant warmth that spreads without sharpness. The finish is long, spicy and silky, with a mature sweetness and hints of nuts and wood.
Silvio Carta Grappa Invecchiata is meant to be enjoyed slowly – ideally in a tulip‑shaped glass at 12–14°C, where its aromas can unfold fully. It is a perfect digestif after a good meal and pairs beautifully with dark chocolate, roasted nuts or a well‑aged cigar.
A refined, deep and classic Italian grappa that shows how beautifully tradition and terroir can merge in a single glass.
