Italian orange peel meets Central American rum in this bright, citrus-packed take from Rum Nation, made for those who love fresh over heavy.

    Expert Description

Rum Nation Meticho Citrus is a rum-based Spirit Drink with Central American rum as its base, flavoured with Italian orange peel, grapefruit, lemon and mandarin, bottled at 40%.

Because the Meticho range is flavoured with citrus fruits and other natural ingredients, it cannot carry the name rum and is instead sold as a spirit drink, even though the base is genuine Central American rum from Rum Nation's own range. To the citrus peels and a touch of real vanilla, the house adds a couple of secret ingredients that tie it all together into a light, sunny whole.

The result is a soft, approachable drink, made to introduce new drinkers to the world of rum without the heaviest complexity.
