The grapes come from the three Cru vineyards Calcarole, Pojega and Rovereti. The idea of the wine is to create a counterpoint to the cheap supermarket Amarones and show that you can make a good Amarone at the slightly lower end of the price scale for this wine type. You still get the classic character of the Amarone style.
