The man behind Island Records and the discoverer of Bob Marley is also behind this rum – Chris Blackwell brought his music-industry sense of storytelling with him when creating Blackwell Rum.

    Expert Description

Blackwell Fine Jamaican Black Gold Special Reserve is a Jamaican Rum matured in American oak casks and bottled at 40%.

The rum was founded in 2008 by Chris Blackwell, founder of the record label Island Records and the man who discovered Bob Marley, in partnership with advertising executive Richard Kirshenbaum. Black Gold Special Reserve is made from selected Jamaican rums and represents the more exclusive end of the brand's range, with a deeper and more complex character than the original Blackwell Rum.
