The cask will be auctioned to the highest bidder on Whisky.dk's auction page, leading up to the Knæk Cancer show on TV2. The highest bid amount will be donated to Knæk Cancer.

If you are not interested in bidding yourself, you can help us by spreading the word to companies, whisky clubs or individuals who would like to make a whisky investment for a good cause.

Jim Murray himself has offered to do a private whisky tasting for the winner of the cask - so there really is something at stake here.

Thewhisky cask:
It will be your very own whiskyfad - a 100 liter 2nd-fill 2nd-fill oloroso sherry cask filled with an organic distillate made from Thy Whisky, from the grain was sown to the bottle is bottled. The cask is filled with 100 liters of distillate, with an alcohol strength of 63.5% vol. After 4-6 years of aging, the bottles are bottled to approximately 200 bottles. The alcohol strength will depend on the evaporation (Angel's Share).

You are welcome to participate in the filling and bottling of the cask, and three times during the aging process you can get a sample and follow the development of the cask.

By agreement with the owner of the cask and Thy Whisky, Jim Murray will travel to Denmark to give a private whisky tasting to the winner of the auction.

Conditions for participation in Thy Whisky Knæk Cancer Auction:

1. Participation requires that the bidder is 18 years old at the time of bidding
2. All bids are valid - both legally and ethically
3. The auction starts on October 23, 2019 at 12:00 pm
4. The auction ends on October 26, 2019 at 20:00
5. Last bid must remain unopposed for 5 minutes after the auction end time
6. For anonymity, bids must be sent to Whisky.dk at info@whisky.dk
7. Payment of the amount is made to Whisky.dk - the full amount will be donated to Knæk Cancer.
