Should you use ice in your whiskey?

Should you use ice in your whiskey?

There are many whisky questions, here we give you an explanation of different terms and expressions from the world of whisky

The big question - with or without ice in your whiskey

Should you use ice in your whiskey?

A simple question that can get your mind racing.
We recommend that you drink your whiskey the way you like it best - i.e. feel free to experiment with and without ice, maybe a few drops of water or e.g. ginger ale. Ginger ale - the possibilities are endless, so go for it. Feel free to write your opinion on the big question in the comments section below.

You could start with Egan's Fortitude - a special single malt, aged exclusively in PX Fade to create a full flavored whiskey with a strong influence of Sherry.

Specially made to celebrate Egan's origins ties to international trade, by importing large quantities of Sherry, Port and Rum to Ireland from the 19th Century. The aromas are a complex Whiskey with heavy red Sherry, honey and raisin notes with a hint of marzipan.

Give yourself a great tasting experience.
About Egan's Whiskey:

Egan's Irish Whiskey has been family owned and operated since 1852, when one of Ireland's leading liquor merchants, P. & H. Egan Limited, developed an extensive Whiskey trade and imported Sherry, Port and Rum from around the world. Six generations later, the Egan's continue the spirit of their ancestors by crafting innovative premium single malt and single grain whiskey.

The latest releases, Legacy Reserve II and Centenary were released in 2019, joining Egan's highly awarded repertoire of premium Irish Whiskeys, including the original 15 year old Legacy Reserve I, along with Fortitude, Vintage Grain and Egan's 10 year old single malt.
