Other: Not chill filtered. The second whisky edition from Enghaven. Only 500 bottles. Single malt 02 is produced on malted barley. The distillate has only been aged in one cask, an ex. rum barrel. The whisky has a scent of grass, birch and banana. It is very gentle and delicious on the palate, with good notes of dried fruit and a lovely long aftertaste that finishes with malt sweetness and hints of citrus notes.

Other: The second rye whisky edition from Enghaven. Only 381 bottles. Rye Cask No 2 is produced from a blend of malted barley and rye from Enghaven's own fields. We have fermented the barley to add additional sweetness. The distillate has only been aged in one cask, an ex. Bourbon cask. The aroma has notes of vanilla, dried fruit and is reminiscent of a wild meadow and hay. It has plenty of sweetness in the mouth, as well as a combination of birch and wood flavors. It has a long and warm aftertaste

About Brænderiet Enghaven

Brænderiet Enghaven was established during the summer and fall of 2007 by Esben Moestrup, Erik Moestrup and Mikkel Nordkvist, and they are probably the first Jutland distillery to produce fruit brandy of the Eau-de-Vie type, and if you disregard one other distillery, also the first in Denmark. For some time, they had been toying with the idea of using our own raw materials, experience and interests to create a micro-production of noble fruit brandy of the finest quality. The farm Enghaven is the perfect setting for fruit brandy production as they have it all on their doorstep. Clean and fine spring water and fertile soil where the fruit trees deliver the most delicious and flavorful fruits every year. Now they have also started to make great whisky and rum products.
