A variation of the classic Gin & Tonic cocktail based on Fary Lochan's Classic Gin, which with its fresh citrus and cucumber flavor creates the perfect base for the Asian-inspired gin and tonic cocktail.

Ingredients



Procedure


Gin, lime juice, both syrups and ice cubes are shaken hard and then poured into a glass using a double strainer.

Top up with a splash of sparkling water and serve without ice, with a few basil leaves on top for aroma. A few basil leaves on top for flavor.

If you need barudstyr - try this kit with shaker, stirring spoon, strainer etc.

Simple and easy to make yourself and it tastes fantastic

Ingredients



  • 5 lemongrass stalks

  • 7 g Chinese bark - Chinese bark is what gives the tonic its distinctive flavor

  • 2 organic limes - zest and juice

  • 2 organic lemons - zest and juice

  • 4 crushed juniper berries, dried

  • 3 whole peppercorns, black

  • 20 g citric acid

  • 1 l. water


Method


Cut the lemongrass stalks into three pieces each and then crush them by pressing the flat side of the knife down with the palm of your hand. Peel the zest off the lemon and lime, but be careful not to get too much of the zest as the syrup can become too bitter.


Then add all the ingredients except the sugar and place in a saucepan. Simmer for 25 minutes.


Strain through a coffee or tea filter, then add the tonic water and sugar and place the mixture in a saucepan and bring to the boil. When the syrup boils, remove from the heat and pour into clean bottles.
