The idea was born during a trip to Italy, where Master Distiller Henrik Brinks got the urge to distil bay leaf into a gin, while Head of Development Sune Urth dreamed of adding angelica.

Copenhagen Distillery Bay Leaf Gin is a Danish organic Dry Gin distilled from 100% organic wheat spirit and bottled at 45%.

The gin was created to celebrate the distillery's new organic certification and reflects Copenhagen Distillery's philosophy of challenging conventional gin with bold flavours.

The eight botanicals include bay leaf, cranberry, lemon, angelica and allspice alongside juniper, giving the gin a herbal character with bay leaf as its defining element.

The gin is unfiltered and may turn lightly cloudy when water or ice is added, a deliberate choice to preserve its full flavour.
