Thy Whisky Spelt Rye Core Expressions is a Danish Organic Rye Whisky bottled at 48.5% in a 70 cl bottle. Distilled from a blend of certified organic spelt and rye – both grown locally in Thy. Floor-malted and double distilled in-house. Spelt and rye give a markedly different flavour picture than a traditional barley single malt – more spiced, more earthy and with a complexity that surprises.

Spelt is an ancient grain with roots in north European agricultural tradition. In whisky it adds a nutty and slightly sweet dimension that complements the rye's natural spiciness.
